Theodore Roosevelt National Park Oil Painting. Original oil painting on canvas, depicts scene of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota. This place was amazing! Rolling hills of green prairies and jagged cliffs, the “badlands”, as far as the eye could see. I wanted to capture the vastness. Named after a man who lived here, Theodore Roosevelt moved to North Dakota in 1884. Moved by the inspiration and experience he had here, he worked hard at preserving our beautiful lands and animals and became our 26th president. The painting is 11x14inches and includes a handmade wooden frame, painted white. Part of the National Park Series.
