Great Smoky Mountains oil painting- Cades Cove oil painting. Original oil painting on linen, depicts scene of Cades Cove, Tennesse. This is one of my favorite places to go in the park. A beautiful green valley surrounded by the blue ridge mountains; this 11-mile loop trail often winds through the forest. I stopped at one of the pullovers in the woods and turned around. There I saw pretty dappled light on the road with a peak of the valley around the corner. I had to paint it! The painting is 11x14inches and includes handmade wooden frame. Part of the National Park Series.
